Town's Inaugural 'BeachFeast' Draws Hundreds in Port Washington
The event featured food, drink and live music

Hundreds attended North Hempstead’s first-ever “BeachFeast” celebration on Sunday at North Hempstead Beach Park in Port Washington.
The food, drink and entertainment festival marked the town’s final summer event of the year.
Attendees had their choice of food from Long Island Festival Caterers, Gino’s Pizza, Gorilla Cheese NYC, Miami Grille, Ponti Rossi, Andy’s Italian Ices & Espresso Bar, Carl’s Steaks, and Mamu Thai Noodles and more. Booths and food trucks were set up along the boardwalk.

The event also included an assortment of beer and wine. Crooked Ladder Brewing Company brought along a fire truck, complete with thirst quenching beers on tap, and Murphy’s Bar and Grill provided a large selection of wines sample.
Music and live entertainment were performed by DJ Kev Dee, Jimmy Kenny and the Pirate Beach Band, That 70’s Band, FiveStone, and Strawberry Fields
