WATCH: Police Release Footage of Nassau County Serial Robber
The man is responsible for at least eight recent commercial robberies in Nassau County, police say.
Police have released surveillance footage of the person responsible for committing eight commercial robberies across Nassau County in March and April.
According to authorities, the man typically enters these stores, produces a large knife, demands cash and flees on foot. The man has been known to wait inside the business until there are no customers present before he commits the robbery, police say.
The below videos are surveillance footage taken of the suspect from a Dunkin’ Donuts robbery that occurred in New Hyde Park on March 1.
According to authorities, the man robbed the following stores:
- Dunkin’ Donuts, located at 2062 Lakeview Road in New Hyde Park, on Tuesday, March 1 at 11:20 p.m.
- Dunkin’ Donuts, located at 156 Manetto Hill Road in Plainview, on Wednesday, March 2 at 9:25 p.m. More info here.

Police described the man as black, 20-30 years old, 6 feet tall, 170 pounds, and wearing a dark-colored hooded jacket, a dark-colored scarf or bandana across his lower face, sunglasses, gloves and blue baggy jeans.
