Mount Vernon Man Gets 6 Years for Stealing Guns From New Rochelle Storage Units, Selling Firearms (talkofthesound.com) — A Mount Vernon man has been sentenced to six years in state prison for breaking into a New Rochelle storage facility, stealing firearms and other property, and later selling the guns. New Rochelle police worked with multiple agencies to recover the weapons, underscoring officials' concerns about illegal firearms and their impact on public safety in local neighborhoods.
