This week, Patch takes a look at a place that has been a part of a New Rochelle neighborhood for over 35 years—John's Ravioli Co.

Don't expect to be seated however because John's Ravioli Co. mostly deals in wholesale distribution. That said, many families in New Rochelle and beyond have made it a routine to stop in on a monthly, weekly or even daily basis to pick up their freshly made pastas and other signature dishes like stuffed shells or lobster ravioli.

The flour they use is imported from Italy and their sauces, marinara, alfredo, bolognese and more are made fresh daily.

Small businesses even outside of New York have trusted John's Ravioli Co. for years such as this gentleman who gets the pasta shipped to Virginia according to Kudzu.com.

"Tried it and loves it. Sold their complete line in my groceria in VA. Even bought a freezer display to show it. Have a new place in PA  so I hope to get it there. Anyone who says they don't like it does not know Italian food. I do, been selling it and making it for 35 years."
