Dead Man Discovered in Burning Car in New Rochelle

New Rochelle police are investigating the discovery of a dead man in a burning car in a parking lot on Webster Avenue Sunday, reports The Journal News.

The man’s identity, the circumstances surrounding the discovery and other information has not yet been released. Firefighters were called to the scene just before 6 a.m. and found the car, a blue Volkswagen, on fire. The discovery of the body came after the flames were extinguished.
