Blood Drive In Honor of Aksel Jarosz

Aksel Jarosz is 11 months old and was recently diagnosed with Pre-B Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. This is a time where Aksel and his family need lots of support from friends and family. We ask that everyone keep him in their prayers.

His blood type is B Negative (which unfortunately is rare). Multiple transfusions are expected in the near future and any blood donations would be greatly appreciated.

Even if you aren't B Negative, you may donate in Aksel's name.

Aksel Jarosz is the son of lifelong Mount Vernon residents and city cops, Cheryl and Alex Jarosz. The Mount Vernon Police are holding a blood drive for Aksel at the Elks Lodge, 88 W. Lincoln Ave. on Monday 3, between 12 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
