When police got to the scene of an emergency medical call, they found a woman giving medical aid to a person who had been stabbed.
NEW ROCHELLE, NY — A woman who claimed to be helping out while giving medical aid to someone who had been stabbed was accused of attempted murder. New Rochelle police said, at about 7:15 a.m. Tuesday, officers responded to an address on Hillandale Drive for a report of an emergency medical call.

However, police said the woman who had been injured told them that the supposed "good Samaritan" was the person who stabbed her.
Crew had hidden herself in the victim's car, police said, and after the victim got in and drove for a short distance, Crew stabbed her.

Authorities said it was determined that Crew's former fiancé is the current boyfriend of the woman who was stabbed.
The victim was taken by ambulance to a hospital with a serious injury, and Crew was charged with second-degree attempted murder, a felony.
She was arraigned, and bail was set at $150,000 cash or $250,000 bond/partially secured bond. Crew's next court date is set for Aug. 19.
