Hudson Valley Pools, Beaches to Close After Labor Day
Because inclement weather or other conditions could mean early closings, check with your recreation department.

Labor Day signals the unofficial end of summer and that means area pools and beaches will be closing for the season.
Unfortunately, the weather forecast for the long Labor Day weekend isn’t the warmest of the summer or the driest, with a chance of rain on Sunday and tropical storm conditions possible for Monday.
All Westchester County beaches and pools will be closed for the season after Monday.

Croton Point Beach will be closed Friday, September 2, according to a notice on the Westchester County website, but is scheduled to reopen for the last three days of the season Saturday, September 3.
In Rockland County, pools in Haverstraw, Clarkstown and Ramapo will also close for the season after Labor Day.

Public pools in both the town and city of Poughkeepsie have closed already for the season.
As always, the pools could close early because of inclement weather, so it’s best to check with your county or local recreation department to make sure.
