New Rochelle Fire Department Promotes 3

The men were honored in a promotion ceremony held at city hall.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — The New Rochelle Fire Department hosted a promotion ceremony on Tuesday, April 9 at the Council Chambers in City Hall. Chief Andrew Sandor was joined by Mayor Noam Bramson, City Manager Chuck Strome, staff and families as they honored three members of the New Rochelle Fire Department.

“ These are quality folks who have earned their rank and, most importantly, the respect that goes with it,” Sandor said. “The Fire Department, and the citizens we serve, are fortunate to have such people out there as leaders.”

  • Captain Donald Bradley promoted to the rank of deputy chief.
  • Lieutenant Thomas Moriarty promoted to the rank of captain.
  • Firefighter Michael O’Keefe promoted to the rank of lieutenant.
