New Rochelle Native Releases New Young Adult/Fantasy Novel

Author Rebecca R. Cohen has done it again, captivating readers with her latest young adult/fantasy novel, ”Into The Light (The Fallen Shadows: Book One).” Ms. Cohen is the author of the “Midnight To Sunrise Series,” and the forthcoming “The Fallen Shadows Series,” to be released on Scribe’s Guild Publishing with the first book, “Into The Light,” making its debut on
Friday September 19, 2014.

Ms. Cohen is a long time Westchester resident having grown up in New Rochelle and now living in Pleasantville, New York with her husband, a personal trainer for PFX Gym. Ms. Cohen has been working as an entertainment journalist for many years and has the pleasure of interviewing some of today’s brightest stars including Ian Somerhalder (The Vampire Diaries), Dexter Darden (The Maze Runner) and Carrie Preston (True Blood) among many others. While she enjoys being a journalist and mingling with the stars, Ms. Cohen’s dream has always been to write and publish novels. She is an avid reader and finds that immersing oneself in a fictional world can be one of the best and most satisfying methods of escape from reality.
