New Rochelle Police Looking For 4 Involved In Gas Station Robbery

One of the suspects told the employee to give him cash or he would be killed, according to the police.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — A strong-arm robbery of a gas station is under investigation in New Rochelle.

The New Rochelle Police Department said, shortly before 1 a.m. Wednesday, officers responded to the Sunoco gas station at 71 Huguenot St. for a report of a robbery.

An investigation found that four men entered the store, and one of them walked behind the counter and demanded money from an employee, police said.

The man then pointed to the cash register and said, "Give me the money or I'll kill you," according to the authorities.

When the register was opened, the man took about $200, police said.

New Rochelle detectives are conducting a follow-up investigation and are asking anyone with information to call the New Rochelle Police Department at 914-654-2300.
