New Rochelle Primary Election Day Is Here: What You Need To Know

Candidates are running for mayor, Council District # 3, Council District #4, and County Legislative District # 11.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — The final chance to vote in the Democratic primary will take place Tuesday in the city of New Rochelle as candidates for mayor, District #3 councilperson, District #4 councilperson and County Legislator District #11 seek a chance to be on their party's ballot line in November.

Who's on the ballot:

Mayoral race: Yadira Ramos-Herbert and Damon R. Maher

New Rochelle District #3: Lianne Merchant, David Peters, Margaret Chadwick and Kwamain L. Dixon

New Rochelle District # 4: Ivar Hyden, Shane Osinloye

County Legislator District #11: Ximena Francella, Terry A. Clements

How To Vote In The 2023 Primary Election:

Primary Day voting takes place on June 27, from 6 a.m. - 9 p.m. Check the Westchester County Polling Place Lookup.

The last day to apply in person for an absentee ballot is June 26.

Absentee ballots must be postmarked by June 27 or taken to the Westchester County Board of Elections by June 27. A mailed-in absentee ballot must be received by the local board of elections no later than July 4.
