The lawsuit claims the New Rochelle club illegally broadcast a "scrambled signal" of a pay-per-view fight.

The Westchester Fight Club in New Rochelle is facing a federal lawsuit from Joe Hand Promotions, a Pennsylvania-based distributor of Ultimate Fighting Championship broadcasts, for $270,000 for an alleged illegal broadcast of a 2012 bout.
The lawsuit claims the New Rochelle club illegally broadcast a “scrambled signal” of the pay-per-view fight without compensating the Pennsylvania distributor, writes The Journal News.
“Piracy is a significant issue with our business and, under the advice of our attorneys and the laws, we aggressively fight against people pirating the signal,” JHP’s president, Joseph Hand Jr., told The Journal News.
