Pair Arrested After Trying To Rob New Rochelle Pharmacy
Police are asking for anyone with information about the robbery to call investigators.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Two Mahopac residents were arrested in connection with an attempted daytime armed robbery in New Rochelle. On July 22, detectives of the New Rochelle Police Department’s General Investigations Unit arrested Brian Dias, 31, and Tina Spearmon, 22, of Mahopac.
They were both charged with first-degree robbery and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, felonies, and are being held pending arraignment.
Police said the pair tried to rob the Main Street Pharmacy, located at 761 Main St.

They were arrested with the assistance of members of the Carmel Police Department in a vehicle in Carmel.
The vehicle is suspected to have been used during the crime and was impounded pending a search warrant, police said.

The attempted robbery remains under investigation.
