Pedestrian Hit by Car, Seriously injured in New Rochelle

The incident occurred Wednesday night.

A man suffered head and other injuries Wednesday night after he was struck by a car on Harrison Street, according to police.

The incident occurred at about 7 p.m. as the man was crossing the street near the intersection of Main Street, reports The Journal News.

The victim, whose identity has not been released, remains hospitalized at Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx.

The driver of the car that struck him, who police say is cooperating with the investigation, has not been charged.
