Planned Parenthood Sells Property, Will Remain in New Rochelle
Patients will still be seen at the current location while renovations on a new health center are completed.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic said it was selling its property in downtown New Rochelle. However, the organization said it will continue to serve patients at its current location.
Planned Parenthood has been providing reproductive health care to the New Rochelle community since the 1930s and will still be seeing patients for another 12 to 18 months at 247-249 North Avenue while renovations to a new health center in New Rochelle are made.
Vincent Russell, president and CEO of Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic, said the organization is committed to providing patients with the high-quality health care services they expect.

"Our new health center will allow us to increase and expand our capacity to provide these services to the people of New Rochelle and the surrounding area,” he said.
The new center will be close to its community partners and accessible via public transportation, according to a spokesperson.

In 2019, Planned Parenthood provided health care services to 4,171 individuals in its New Rochelle health center through 7,584 visits. Some of the services available at New Rochelle's health center include birth control, gynecological exams, prenatal care, HIV testing and counseling, sexually transmitted infection testing and treatment, abortion care, gender affirming care and more.
Planned Parenthood provides services to all individuals regardless of age, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, immigration status, or ability to pay.
