School Delays, Closings For Southern Westchester For Friday
The snow storm has caused some schools to close, others to delay their opening.
The following schools have either changed their schedule or closed for Friday, March 10, due to the weather:
- Alcott School Crane Road - All sites opened, staff report at 9 a.m., students at 9:30 a.m. No a.m. or p.m. transportation.
- Elmsford UFSD - Delayed 2 Hours
- Greenburgh Eleven UFSD - Delayed 2 Hours
- Greenburg-Graham Union Free School Dist - Delayed - 2.5 Hours
- Harvey School - Closed
- Hastings-on-Hudson UFSD - 9:35 a.m. start for students
- New York School For The Deaf - Delayed - 2 Hours
- Rye Country Day School - Closed
- Southern Westchester Boces - Delayed - 2 Hours
- Valhalla UFSC - Delayed 2 Hours
- Westchester School for Special Children - Closed
- Mercy College - Closed
