Two-Car Crash Leads to DWI Arrest for 67-Year-Old Driver
The incident occurred late Sunday night on I-95 in New Rochelle.

A two-car crash on I-95 in New Rochelle late Sunday night, July 12, resulted in one of the drivers being charged with misdemeanor Driving While Intoxicated, according to New York State Police.
Tolland, Conn. resident Andrew P. Dawid JR., 67, was found to be intoxicated as troopers were investigating the collision, state police said. No injuries were reported, and the operator of the other car was not charged.
While in police custody, Dawid’s blood alcohol content was 0.12 percent, which is above the legal limit.

Dawid was turned over to a sober third party and released on an appearance ticket to the City of New Rochelle Court on July 20 at 9:30 a.m.
