Worker Electrocuted At Construction Site ID'd By Police

The fatal incident occurred at 164 Union Avenue in New Rochelle.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — The worker who was electrocuted Wednesday at a New Rochelle construction site was identified by the police. Alejandro Manuel Caisaguano Pellisa, 26, of the Bronx, was killed when the cherry picker he was working in accidentally came in contact with high voltage wires.

The incident occurred around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at 164 Union Avenue, police said.

The New Rochelle Fire Department said it notified the Occupational Health and Safety Administration. The city buildings department is also conducting a follow-up investigation.
