• Local libraries team up for annual 'Great Fall Library Crawl' (lakeplacidnews.com) — Families in North Elba can join the Clinton-Essex-Franklin Library System's free Great Fall Library Crawl running Oct. 1–31 across libraries in Essex and neighboring counties. Pick up a passport and scavenger hunt list at any participating library, collect stamps and correct answers, and you could earn raffle entries and prizes without needing to register in advance.
