A total of 21 dogs and five cats will be arriving at the League's shelters on the North Fork Saturday and adoptions are needed to make room.

NORTH FORK, NY — A new passel of homeless pets is headed to the North Fork Saturday — and there's a desperate need for adoptions to make room for the new additions.
According to Gabrielle Stroup, director of operations for the League, there are 21 dogs and 5 cats headed to the two shelters on the North Fork Saturday from a shelter in Georgia.

"I've done it again — and I've picked too many dogs to save!" she laughed. "Help!"
