Chronic kidney disease is a progressive, long-term condition where damaged kidneys cannot adequately filter waste from the blood, often leading to waste buildup and other health issues. Dr. Louisette Soussan is a Stony Brook Southampton Hospital nephrologist specializing in the comprehensive evaluation and management of acute and chronic kidney disease. She will discuss diagnosis and treatment options that can allow patients to control the progression of the disease and improve their quality of life.
