A regular meeting of the Greenport Village Board of Trustees is slated for Monday at 6 p.m. at the Third Street Firehouse.
On the agenda is an announcement that the Robert L. Perry Jr. Day Care Center is seeking funding and is "in desperate need" of assistance. Those looking to help are asked to contact the Perry Jr. Day Care Center directly.
At the meeting, a presentation will also be given on a proposed green energy park that would be sited at Clark's Beach, located on the Long Island Sound.

An annual report of the tree committee will be given by Trustee George Hubbard Jr., and a public hearing will be held on Chapter 115 of the village code, relating to streets and sidewalks.
Village resident William Swiskey, who recently lost a run for a seat on the village board by a narrow margin, suggested any residents with concerns about parking attend the meeting to make their voices heard. A recent idea for a paid parking facility in the village sparked dialogue; Swiskey said residents should bring the discussion before the board.

The board will also vote on a resolution that would allow treasurer Charlene Kagel to create a capital reserve account in the electric fund.
