Thieves caper
On Shelter Island
One of the East End's favorite bands--Joe Delia & Thieves-- will be stealing hearts for the first time at the friendly Chequit Inn.
Joe Delia (recipient of gold and platinum records), says the band will bring their danceable surf blues rock n roll originals, like "Getting Over Jane" as well as seldom-heard classics, like "Stuck in the Middle with You".
Naturally, their songs that are getting radio play, including "Under the Montauk Moon" and "What Took You So Long" will be Make the audience laugh and sing along.
This is the first time for this thievery in this fun location and temporary tattoos will be given out as souvenirs.
