'Historical Graveyard Tour' Set To Spook Saturday On North Fork
The tour includes actors in period costumes telling the stories of the historical figures buried in the graveyard.

MATTITUCK, NY — As Halloween draws near, a hauntingly fun event is slated for Saturday on the North Fork as the popular "Historical Graveyard Tour" is set to send shivers down spines of all who set out to enjoy the event.
The tour begins at the North Fork Community Theatre, located at 12700 Old Sound Avenue in Mattituck, and then, heads through the graveyard at the Mattituck Presbyterian Church, where actors in period costumes recount the life stories of historical figures buried there.
Tours last less than an hour and will run every 10 minutes starting at 2 p.m. through 4 p.m. on October 15. Tickets are $25 per person. A rain date has been scheduled for Oct. 22.

Cast and crew include Rich Gardini as Joseph Wiggins, James Pritchard as Nathan Reeve, Matt Orr as James Reeve, Suzette Reiss as Mary Reeve, Kelsey Cheslock as Patience Lamb, Stu Whalen as Andrew Gildersleeve, Nick Motlenski as James Wickham, Michaalyn Schepps as Frances Wickham, and Charlie Lehner as William Wells. Widows include Caren Heacock, Veronica Spaeth, Judith Uguale, Theresia Hand, Mary Anne Midura, and Renee Marcks.
The performance is directed by Mary Kalich. Kalich and Stephen Ness will conduct the tour openings and present NFCT history.

The event is a joint venture between the Mattituck Historical Society, the Mattituck Presbyterian Church's graveyard restoration committee, and the North Fork Community Theatre, with proceeds equally benefiting all three organizations.
