According to organizer TK Krumenacker, who was unable to attend and said he'd missed seeing everyone, the free reunion was the fifth, "bringing Greenport School alumni together for one day filled with food, fun, music, fellowship, and of course, remembering our time together at GHS."

Classmates, he said, shared stories of past teachers/faculty, classmates, sports, proms, beach parties, Gull Pond, 67 Steps, music, and concerts.

"This Porter event is truly our own in the Village of Greenport," he said. "We lived those times together; we spent four years cherishing it."

The event's planning committee accepted monetary donations, as well as raffle gift items from the public and local businesses; signs were dedicated throughout the park in memory of classmates, now gone but never forgotten.

The GHS All Class Corporation Board is comprised of Annemarie Heaney-Chouinard, Rose Heaney-Baker, Mary Shelby, Robert Walden, and Krumenacker, Krumenacker said.
