Long Island Pumpkin Picking Guide 2019

Don't miss a minute of the fun with Patch's great guide on where to go this fall for pumpkin picking.

(Lisa Finn.)

LONG ISLAND, NY — The coming of fall signals the time for cozy blankets, Halloween festivities, hearty stews— and pumpkins. Glorious, brightly-hued pumpkins, which adorn our front steps and serve as the centerpiece for family pumpkin carving gatherings.

Pumpkin picking is a bonafide tradition, and, as scores pack the cars and head out in search of the perfect choice, Patch has compiled a list of don't-miss places where Long Islanders can head for U-pick pumpkins, mazes, festivals, hayrides, roasted corn dripping with butter, cider and more.

If it's apple picking you'd like to explore, check out Patch's Long Island Apple Picking Guide 2019.
