🌱 North Fork Daily: Dog Thrown Into Dumpster Needs Home + Ukraine

The quickest way to get caught up on the most important things happening today on the North Fork.

(Patch Media)

Good morning, North Fork!

The top story in the news today is about a dog, shown in a video being thrown by his leash into a dumpster by a man who slams the cover of the dumpster down, leaving the dog trapped inside — and then drives away.

That dog is now safe on the North Fork and the loving staff at The League is trying to find him a home. It's here on the North Fork that these abandoned pets find their next chapters, and it's something that makes me so proud to be a part of this loving community. If you can help Justice, or any of the other pets in need of their new families, give The League a call or just stop by.

Until tomorrow. . . .

First, today's weather:

Warmer; a p.m. shower or two. High: 56 Low: 49.
