🌱 North Fork Daily: Greenport Parade + Winter Festival

The quickest way to get caught up on the most important things happening today on the North Fork.

(Patch Media)

Happy Saturday, North Fork friends and neighbors! It's going to be a great day on the North Fork with lots to do. The Annual Greenport Washington's Birthday Parade, a beloved tradition, steps off at 1 p.m., bringing hero firefighters from all corners of Long Island to the village. The parade means so much, to so many, and we're delighted that it's back after a pandemic pause.

And, for the first time, the Southold Winter Festival presents an array of activities aimed at bringing tourists and business to the hamlet center during the winter months.

Whatever you do this weekend, stay warm and safe.

Until next time. . . .

First, today's weather:

A snow shower in the p.m.. High: 39 Low: 18.
