🌱 North Fork Daily: Live-Saving Transplant + Parklet Discussion
The quickest way to get caught up on the most important things happening today on the North Fork.

Happy St. Patrick's Day, North Fork neighbors and friends!
The best news of all today — a well-loved member of the Greenport community received his life-saving gift recently as he underwent a double lung transplant. Jeff Goubeaud, a familiar face to his many friends at Mitchell Marina in Greenport, is said to be recovering well, a "star patient," and we couldn't be happier for him.
Also today, public input is sought on whether the community would like to see the parklets, designed to promote outdoor dining and bolster the Greenport economy during the pandemic, should return for the 2022 season. What do you think? Email your thoughts to Lisa.Finn@patch.com for a future story.
Enjoy your corned beef and cabbage! Until tomorrow. . .
