The quickest way to get caught up on the most important things happening today in North Fork.

Good morning, North Fork friends. The North Fork has been cloaked in sadness this weekend as we learned of the sudden passing of beloved teacher Cindy Goldsmith-Agosta. Hearts are broken as scores share memories of a mother, daughter, wife, friend, and teacher who touched countless lives with her bright smile and caring heart. Funeral services have been set, a candlelight vigil takes place Tuesday, and Greenport schools will be closed Thursday in her honor. During the darkest of times, the North Fork community, with ties that run deep and extend through generations, comes together like nowhere else. Keep the Goldsmith and Agosta families, as well as all the students and friends who are mourning, in your hearts and prayers this week. And stay safe and warm during today's stormy weather.
