🌱 North Fork Daily: Osprey Save + Baby With New Heart Doing Well
The quickest way to get caught up on the most important things happening today on the North Fork.

Hello all! It's Wednesday and tonight, the Mattituck Lions Club Strawberry Festival kicks off with Hulling Night, back for the first time in two years since the pandemic. There's nothing, in my mind, that epitomizes the heart and spirit of the North Fork more than generations of families coming together with laughter, stories, and joy to hull strawberries and create memories. Hope to see you there!
Also, a Wading River couple whose first baby Ruby received a life-saving heart transplant on Christmas a few years ago was faced with the unthinkable when their second child needed the same surgery. But on Friday, a second miracle — and now, little Buddy, just a year old, is eating and doing well, and, they said, "living for two," as they thank their donor family with all their heart's for their precious boy's second chance.
Until tomorrow. . .
First, today's weather:
Sunshine and some clouds. High: 75 Low: 60.
