1. Dan's Papers explains that the Suffolk County Water Authority wants $29,896,000 in grant funding to provide drinking water to residents of Manorville and the North Fork. The grants would fund a 24-inch water main from the Central Pine Barrens to the Town of Southold to restore the North Fork's aquifers and public water to Manorville residents with polluted private wells. 2. A popular North Fork singer-songwriter, Gene Casey, will play the Suffolk Theater on Dec. 10 and he released his first digital single, a rockabilly Christmas song. (Northforker)
3. Riverhead Central School District was hit by a ransomware attack on Friday causing an outage of school Internet and email accounts. Police were advised. (Daily Voice)
