🌱 North Fork Daily: The Shoals, 'Boatel', Opening + 'The Producers'
The quickest way to get caught up on the most important things happening today on the North Fork.

Hello, neighbors! Top in the news today, a new "boatel" is set to host its grand opening in Southold next week. The Shoals, located at the site of the former Heron Harbor Suites, features rooms and slips for vessels, too. The waterfront site will focus on the rich maritime history of the area, including a private dock and a vintage Chris-Craft charter boat, which can be used to shuttle guests to beaches and nearby restaurants, or just out to enjoy the water, according to owners.
In addition, The Shoals has partnered with Elizabeth Peeples and Stefanie Bassett, owners of the Little Ram Oyster Company, for a "robust oyster program" that will be operated out of a renovated waterfront building on the property called the "Shuck Shack," the release said.
Also, the North Fork Community Theatre celebrates opening night of "The Producers," a show that's seen a long pandemic pause. But the show must go on, and it has, bringing a joyful burst of hilarity and some of the North Fork's finest talent to the stage. Don't miss it.
