🌱 North Fork Daily: Students Walk-Out For Teacher + Easter Brunch
The quickest way to get caught up on the most important things happening today on the North Fork.

Good morning, neighbors and friends. Top in the news today, Greenport High School students staged a walk-out for a teacher who was "reassigned" last week, leaving many blind-sided. The kids spoke with Patch and said they needed the teacher who had brought them so far, to help them through finals and the Regents. "Bring him back!" they pleaded
What stood out most was that the kids were calm, well-spoken, well-organized. They spoke from their hearts and they got a strong point across. Even Superintendent Marlon Small, when asked for his comments about the walk-out, said, "I'm proud of them."
In a world torn apart by acrimony, the fact that these kids were able to band together and take a stand for what they believed in was an uplifting sight, inspiring hope for our collective futures.
Until tomorrow. . . .
