Owner 'Frantic' After Beloved Dog, Walter, Goes Missing On North Fork
Walter is a Yorkie mix and went missing Friday, according to The League animal shelter.
MATTITUCK, NY — The search is on for Walter, a little Yorkie mix missing from Mattituck.
According to Gabby Stroup, director of operations for The League, Southold's animal shelter, Walter went missing from his home in Sebastian Cove, in the Bailie Beach area of Mattituck last night.
His owner is traveling and is "frantic," at the news that her pup is missing. Someone was watching Walter when he accidentally got away, she said.

Walter is about 2 years old and about 10 lbs., Stroup said.
