Santa, Mrs. Claus Arrive By Firetruck In Mattituck: Photos

MATTITUCK, NY — A happy crowd of kids flocked to Mattituck Saturday to greet Santa Claus as he came to town by firetruck.
The Mattituck Chamber of Commerce hosted a full slate of events this weekend to celebrate the holiday season.
To start, a Christmas Tree Lighting took place Friday; Santa and Mrs. Claus lit the solar-powered tree at the Raymond F. Nine Park, located in front of CVS on Main Road. The event included hot chocolate, cookies, candy canes, caroling and donkeys.

Next, Saturday was "Santa Day" at the Mattituck Shopping Center, beginning with a free showing of "The Star" for kids at the Mattituck Cinema, followed by free hot chocolate, courtesy of Starbucks.
Next, with sirens ringing out, Santa and Mrs. Claus arrived by firetruck to take photos with the children.]
