Son Of Greenport Native Loses Everything In New Year's Fire
Here's how you can help him to rebuild after the fire.
GREENPORT, NY — The son of a Greenport native needs help after a New Year's fire.
A GoFundMe page, "Lost All Our Things In A Fire On New Year's," was created by Ace Shelby, son of Jonathan Shelby; Ace now lives in Austin, TX.
"Some kids decided to pop fireworks right next to my apartment building and set it on fire, then ran to their car and took off!" he wrote. "All in all we lost everything so anything will help in a major way. Christmas presents, our clothes and our kids' clothes were lost, not to mention everything else we had!"
