Southold Fire Department Holds Ceremony To Honor Lost On 9/11

SOUTHOLD, NY — The Southold Fire Department will hold a ceremony to mark the 20-year anniversary of 9/11.

The memorial will be held at Jean Cochran Park on Peconic Lane in Peconic, with those in attendance beginning at 5:45 p.m.

Firefighters will walk in at 6 p.m. for a laying of the wreath and a prayer; fire trucks will be lined up in advance with flags waving.
