Southold Opera House Presents Victorian Holiday Concert
A portion of the proceeds of the event will benefit the Southold Historical Society.

SOUTHOLD, NY — A former church on Main Road in Southold will come alive with the sweet sounds of music this weekend.
The Southold Historical Society and The Southold Opera House will host the French American Choir of New York for a Victorian-themed Holiday Concert on Sunday at 3 p.m.
The Southold Opera will host the Southold Historical Society’s Victorian Holiday Concert fundraising gala as one of its first official performances following the renovation of the building.

The French American Choir of New York, along with the Southold Opera Choir and soloists, will perform a Victorian-themed holiday concert; the performance will be directed by Anne-Julia Audray, owner and artistic director of the Southold Opera,and accompanied but the pianist Fabio Bezuti, a release said.
Two ballerinas, Ellie Schultz and Alexis Stavrinos from the Moya Strast Ballet Theater, will perform solos choreographed by Cheryl Rains. A speaker from the Southold Historical Societywill give a brief presentation spotlighting Victorian era carols.

Included in the program will be offerings by Mozart, Bach, Lully, Rameau, Offenbach, and Caccini, as well as popular holiday songs.
For each ticket sold, the Southold Opera will donate $5 to the Southold Historical Society.
