Report: Prosecutors Say Suspect in Southold Shooting Confessed
Albino Dejesus Medina faces up to 25 years in prison.

One of the five suspects thought to be involved in the gang-related shooting in Southold in October, provided two written confessions to investigators after his arrest, The Suffolk Times reports.
Albino Dejesus Medina, 20, of Bay Shore, was arrested on Thursday, Nov 13, and charged with three counts of first degree assault and one count of criminal possession of a weapon, according to Southold Town Police.
The suspected gang member was arraigned on Wednesday and could face anywhere from 5 to 25 years in prison if he is convicted of the top charge, according to The Suffolk Times.
