What To Do On A Rainy Weekend
Weekend plans get dampened by the gloomy skies? Head to the library.

Rainy days means snuggling up with a good book or watching a movie.
Staffers at the Southold Free Library said certain books fly off the shelves during the beach bag summer season.
Popular titles right now include "Life After Life," by Kate Atkinson, "The Interestings," by Meg Wolitzer, "Six Years," by Harlan Coben, "A Week in Winter," by Maeve Binchy, "Proof of Heaven," by Eben Alexander, and "Gone Girl: A Novel," by Gillian Flynn.
Popular movies and DVDs, library staffers say, include "Downtown Abbey," "Argo," "Life of Pi," and "Les Miserables."
So if your weekend plans got rained out, head to the library for a cozy alternative.
