Woman Caught After Gunpoint Gas Station Holdup: Cops
She displayed what appeared to be a handgun and fled the gas station with $650, police say.

CUTCHOGUE, NY — A woman has been arrested after the holdup of a Cutchogue gas station with what appeared to be a handgun, police said.
According to Southold Town Police, Rebecca Abatelli, 27, of Cutchogue, was arrested near her home on Main Road on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. and charged second degree robbery, a felony.
Southold detectives made the arrest after an investigation following a robbery at the Valero gas station on Route 25 in Cutchogue during the early morning hours on April 22, police said.

Abatelli allegedly displayed what appeared to be a handgun during the robbery; after being handed about $650 in cash, she left on foot and headed north, police said.
Abatelli was held overnight pending arraignment in Southold Justice Court on Thursday, police said.
