Arrest Log: Aggravated DWI, Store Theft, Drug Arrests

Tuesday, Nov. 10

At 3:49 p.m., a 45-year-old East Northport woman was arrested and charged with petty larceny and fifth degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Police received a report of a store security guard holding the woman for stealing on Fort Salonga Road.

Monday, Nov. 16

At 7 p.m., Linda Belsten, 59, of Northport was arrested for driving while intoxicated on Bayview Avenue, police said. A witness told police that a blue 2002 BMW drove over the double yellow line several times and impeded the flow of traffic by stopping in the middle of the roadway. She was pulled over for driving too slow and was charged with aggravated DWI and DWI.

At 3:55 p.m., a 34-year-old Bayshore man was arrested on Fifth Avenue and charged with third degree criminal trespassing.

Sunday, Nov. 22

At 4:06 p.m., police arrested a 43-year-old Southampton man at King Kullen on Fort Salonga Road and charged him with petty larceny and fifth degree criminal possession of stolen property.
