East Northport Resident Raises $1,000 for Long Island Veterans
The funds will support military veterans as they transition home after service.

A business owner from East Northport raised $1,000 for Long Island veterans by selling t-shirts that support a good cause.
Gerard Dolan, owner of Farmers Insurance Gerard T. Dolan Agency, took proceeds he earned through selling United Way of Long Island’s Mission United t-shirts and donated them directly to the Northport Veterans Medical Center. Funds from t-shirt sales support programs that assist military veterans as they transition home after service.
Half of Dolan's sales went directly to the Northport Veterans Medical Center. The remaining $500 will go towards supporting United Way and its Mission United partner agencies.
