Elwood Memorial Day Ceremony Honors Military Members Old and New
Three Elwood seniors will enter the military upon graduation in June.

Not only did members of the community honor those who served in the military, but they also put the highlight on a few future military members at Elwood-John H. Glenn High School’s Memorial Day ceremony.
Elwood Union Free School District honored past, current and future military heroes alongside members of the American Legion and the Elwood Taxpayers Association during the ceremony.

Elwood’s select chorus performed the National Anthem under the direction of music teacher Rachel Nagle and student Sean Donovan performed his rendition of “Taps” on the trumpet.
Three students from the graduating class of 2015 presented the ceremonial red, white and blue wreath to display in front of the school.

These students, Thomas Krauss, Jacob Pagan and Anthony Sgambati, will enter the military once they graduate in June.
