Elwood Students Help 'Make-a-Wish' for Two Ill Boys
The National Honor Society collected over $300 to grant the wishes of Nicholas and Jason.

Students at Elwood-John H. Glenn High School were able to raise money to grant the wishes of two ill boys in the community.
The National Honor Society collected over $300 to grant the wishes of Jason and Nicholas, who both asked for a trip to Walt Disney World. The donations were through Make-a-Wish Suffolk County’s Coins for Wishes campaign, which was held from March 16 to March 30.

National Honor Society advisor Diane Locascio, president Diana Bartolotta and member Bridget Leighton had the opportunity to meet Jason, a 5-year-old wish recipient from Selden.
The wishes of Nicholas and Jason were granted thanks to the Elwood students and other students across Suffolk County.
