Greenlawn Health Center to Provide Latest HIV Care
Patients with HIV will receive comprehensive care at the center through a grant.

A health center in Greenlawn recently announced that it will provide grants to help provide care to people with HIV.
The Dolan Family Health Center is working with North Shore-LIJ Health System to help patients with HIV receive total care by seeing physicians, social workers, nurses, nurse case managers and a pharmacist.
“Offering healthcare to those with HIV is a natural progression of our services,” said William Gehrhardt, MD, medical director of the Dolan Family Health Center, in a press release.

A nurse case manager, social worker and health educator dedicated to HIV care are expected to be available to patients at this center, which is part of Huntington Hospital.
The three-year Ryan White Part C grant is secured by the North Shore University Hospital Center for AIDS Research and Treatment, which is the largest provider of modern HIV care on Long Island.
