Police Log: Reported Screaming Was Really Just a Guy Yelling at the Television

Tuesday, April 14

At 1:03 p.m., police reported suspicious activity in which there were several vehicles parked in the driveway of a vacant house on James Street. Officers arrived to the scene and did not locate any vehicles parked at the residence.

At 6:43 p.m., police reported fire activity in which a second floor smoke detector was activated on Oxford Street. Residents told officers that steam from the shower set off the smoke detector.

Wednesday, April 15

At 6:17 p.m., police reported a disturbance in which someone was screaming on Fort Salonga Road. Officers located the screaming person who said he had yelled while watching television.

At 8:25 p.m., police reported a motor vehicle crash where a driver left the scene of the incident on Woodbine Avenue.

Thursday, April 16

At 1:15 p.m., police reported property damage in which a vehicle’s driver side mirror was damaged on Reservoir Avenue.
