Student Falls 12 Feet Through Ceiling Tile at Northport High School
The student was taken to a local hospital for non-life threatening injures Wednesday afternoon.
NORTHPORT, NY- A Northport High School student avoided a head injury Wednesday afternoon after police said he fell through a ceiling tile above the school’s stage.
The 16-year-old student was participating in an after school activity when he fell approximately 12 feet to the ground from the ceiling tile, which police said is well below the roof, at 3:30 p.m.
He was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
